Introduction
Background: Archipelago nations in the Pacific Ocean.  Migrated to current islands after a volcanic explosion on their home island of Jostan (Johnston Atoll), which is currently "possessed" by the United States.

Location: NW Pacific Ocean just east of the International Date Line.

Geographic co-ordinates: 18.9 N  174.9 W

Climate: Tropical marine; generally warm and moderately humid, moderated by NE trade winds; dry season is from Jan to June, rainy season is from Jul to Dec; temperatures vary some due to elevation but little seasonal variation is observed overall.  Jostan and Pisces tend to be a little drier than the rest of the country.

ain: High plateau in the NW, central mountain range SW to NE.  Flat fertile plains in the south, rolling hills to the NE, smaller mountain chain is in SW.  Diphida is hilly.  Pisces chain varies from mountainous to low-lying coral islands. Jostan is very low to sea level, with its highest point being 15ft.
